Clare In Bloom

Blooming Marvellous...

Latest News:
As part of the Anglia in Bloom competition Clare's Judging Day for the Anglia in Bloom competition is Wednesday 18th July 2007 at 1.00 p.m. and, following on from this in the afternoon, will be the Local Competition Judging, done this year by a judge from Perennial (formerly the Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society).

Clare in Bloom has been very busy since last autumn. A group of volunteers planted crocuses on the greensward between The Cock and the Globe and the display in the spring was beautiful.

On the 10th June a group of volunteers planted the containers in the town and the Scouts planted up the Churchyard border the following day.

Clare in Bloom applied to the Lottery for a grant under the Awards for All Scheme and were awarded money, firstly, to buy a hand driven Bowser for watering and, secondly, to build a sustainable garden in conjunction with Clare Primary School at the school. We are planning to start this in the Autumn.

Help keep Clare Blooming...!!!
