11:00 AM - CAVENDISH OPEN GARDENS

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June 2017 11.00am to 5.00pm A range of gardens will be open in Cavendish, a quintessential English village with a much admired green, pink cottages and historic church. Teas and refreshments will be available, also stalls selling cakes, plants and other items. Light lunches and teas with homemade cakes available. Proceeds to St Nicholas Hospice and Cavendish Community Council for local good causes. Cost: 5.00 covers both days, accompanied children free. The event programmes/tickets are available in advance at the village shop or on the day from any garden and on The Green. Approximately 20 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Showcasing Quality Crafts (Traditional & Contemporary), Art, Plants & Flowers, and Artisan Food & Drink
With around 130 exhibitors over 160 stalls there is something for everyone. Crafts on display include woodwork, iron work, decoupage, felt making, pyrography, prints, flowers, wool spinning, textiles, art and sculpture in various materials, pottery, jewellery, photography, artisan food and drink. Live music, and Morris Dancing by the Little Egypt Morris Men. For children there will be Punch & Judy, face painting, a magician and a daily children's raffle.
Times: 10.00am until 5.00pm
Admission: 5 adults, 4 seniors, (weekend ticket 8/6), accompanied under-16s FREE
All proceeds to good causes
