8:00 AM - SUMMER FUN CLUB

A summer fun club will be held again this year in Clare Country Park. The club will be open Monday to Friday for two weeks from Monday 9 August. Children from three years upwards can attend to take part in the wide range of activities including nature trails, water play, ball games and a mini beast hunt. A full day session from 8am to 6pm will cost £18 whilst a half day morning or afternoon session will cost £10. Drop into the Visitors Centre in the Country Park between 11am and 1pm on Saturday 3 July to book your childs place or contact Danielle Taylor.

12:00 AM - TOUR OF BRITAIN CYCLE RACE

The Tour of Britain annual elite cycling race stage 7 will be coming to Suffolk on 17 September 2010 and is considered to be one of the cornerstones of the UK sporting calender and the country's biggest cycling event. The race will start in Bury St Edmunds at 10.15 am and will be passing through Suffolk towns including Clare between 11.00 am to 11.25 am. Come out and celebrate this prestige carnival atmosphere event which will be shown on ITV 4 each night between 7.00 - 8.00 pm. The cyclists will consist of 17 teams from ten different countries, 5 British teams, 8 Tour De France teams, 100 riders and 8 medalists from Beijing Olympics.
