Community
Clare is a market town in the heart of Suffolk with a vibrant community. We have a range of community services and projects to rival towns much larger than our own. Volunteers provide an invaluable service to the local community and we would like to offer our support and thanks to all those involved in community work no matter how big or small.
A Monitoring Group is now being set up which will oversee the implementation of the Action Plan. If anyone would like to help on that group please contact Nigel Partridge through the Town Clerk.
Run by dedicated volunteers, the Clare First Responders team provide emergency help and assistance to residents of Clare and the surrounding areas. First Responders are on standby to answer requests for assistance from the Ambulance Service and are able to respond prior to the arrival of the ambulance with life saving equipment like Defibrillators.
