The Clare Directory is the ideal way to promote your company or organisation on the web. The Clare web site enjoys on average of well over 100 visitors every day and an average of 2500 unique visitors each month! The Clare Directory offers two levels of Directory entry - Standard and Advanced which are described below as well as 2 other advertising options, namely a Web Page Entry and a Sponsored Entry.

Please be aware that the Directory is ONLY open to companies and organisations in Clare or in any of the directly adjoining villages. Please do not submit an entry that does not comply with these rules as it will not be listed.

Advanced Entry - £49 Per Year (Photo + £25)

Advanced entries are ideal for companies that have a web site and want to attract visitors to the site, or for organisations that need that bit extra to describe what their business is about.

Web Page Entry - £199 Per Year

Your company can have a web page hosted on Clare-UK from just £199 per year. Your web page can contain your company logo, two pictures and upto 1000 words of text. This page will be linked to an Advanced Entry in the directory, allowing others to find your page easily. You can promote your web page on any of your printed literature with your web address taking the form of www.clare-uk.com/yourcompany
  • There are currently on average more than 100 visits recorded on the Clare web site every day and an average of 2000 unique visitors a month! This makes our web site the ideal place to promote your business to local customers.
  • Your web page given time will be indexed by the major search engines, allowing your company to be found not only by visitors to Clare-UK, but also by anyone else on the Internet. This has a major advantage for companies who do not yet feel that they need a web site, but would like an Internet presence at a low cost. At a later date, should you feel you need a more detailed web site, your entry in the directory can linked directly to your new web site, providing instant targeted traffic.

Sponsored Entry - £125 Per Year

Your company or organisation can have a Sponsor Entry on Clare-UK from just £125 per year - click here to see other sponsors entries. Your Sponsor Entry can contain your company logo, two pictures and upto 200 words of text. This page will be linked to a free Advanced Entry in the directory worth £49.00 pa*, allowing others to find your page easily. You can promote your Sponsor Entry on any of your printed literature with your web address taking the form of www.clare-uk.com/sponsors/yourcompany
 
*NB: Sponsored Ads have a wider catchment area than the Directory, to see if your business can advertise here, see this map. Please note however, if the location of your business does not not directly adjoin the town of Clare it will not appear in the Clare-UK Directory.

Who can be included in the Directory?

Who can be included in the Directory ?
The Interactive Business Directory is open to any company in the Clare area. From one-man-bands to multi-national companies - any business can benefit from this service. Our defininiton of the 'Clare Area' is anyone in Clare or any of the directly ajoining villages - please note that we cannot list any business, service or organisation outside of this area.

Why only the Clare area?
When Clare-UK was first introduced over 10 years ago, it was decided that the website should be for the local community only. There are many, many other websites to choose from that advertise products and services from far and wide. However we wanted Clare-UK to advertise only very local business as both a help to the local economy and to support Clare's 'Buy Local' campaign.

Can my business be found from any other searches ?
Yes - There is a Site Search facility on the main page of Clare-UK. If someone enters a keyword that matches your entry, they will be given the option of searching the Clare Directory.

Is this service upgradeable ?
Yes - We can offer a discount on the design and hosting of a full website, domain name registration and any other Internet services that you might require. We can also ensure that your website is linked to from Clare-UK giving you immediate traffic to help with your site's own position Search Engines!

Who operates the Clare Web Site ?
The Clare Web Site is designed, developed and maintained by Pure Energy Multimedia in close co-operation with Clare Parish Council and the Clare Traders Association. Pure Energy Multimedia are a multimedia production company who provide a wide range of services from web site design and hosting to video production and CD-ROM presentations.
