Vacancy for Parish Clerk and Finance Officer

Do you have excellent organisational and administrative skills?  Clare Town Council has a VACANCY for a Town Clerk and Finance Officer.

 
Working for a busy and energetic Town Council you will be the principal point of contact for Townioners and local government officials for a wide range of public service matters affecting Clare.

You will ensure the smooth running of our Town Meetings and Committees, run an efficient Town office, control the Council’s finances, manage the Clare-UK.com website, and support a range of other initiatives.

Excellent organisational, administrative, inter-personal and PC skills are a pre-requisite for this role.  Training will be provided and professional development will be encouraged.

This role will require up to 60 hours per month with flexible hours during the day and some evening meetings.

Remuneration is on an hourly basis at competitive rates.
