Clare in Bloom - Pumpkin Lantern Competition
Thank you to everyone who took part in the fantastic pumpkin lantern competition on Thursday 29th October during the Halloween Trail at Clare Castle Country Park.
There were plenty of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes – the prize for the biggest pumpkin went to triplets Oliver, Jasper and Harry Mullen.
The prize for the most scary pumpkin was awarded to Aidan Scott who went to great lengths to make his pumpkin look scary by painting it black.
Well done to everybody who took part – especially those of you who grew their own pumpkins…!
Above on the right is Kimberley Golding grew her pumpkin from plants purchased during the summer scarecrow competition!
