Keeping the streets of Clare clean and tidy and finding ways to do an even better job is always high on the agenda of the Town Council's Environment Committee.  A big step forward was taken over the weekend when a street cleaning machine was delivered.  Pictured above is Brian Watts, our street cleaner, taking delivery of the machine, and there to witness this important occasion were members of the Environment Committee.

Acting Chair Tony Sharp said:" With this machine we expect not only to make the streets of Clare cleaner, but also to be able to cover many more streets on a regular basis.  We have been working out the routes and frequency we need to cover and we hope that Townioners will soon see improvements."
