BMX and mountain bike riders in Clare are desperately looking for somewhere close to the town to be able to pursue their sport in peace after their home made jumps were removed from Westfield green by St Edmundsbury Council. 

A number of the group attended a Town Council meeting in November, two of them read out their request and handed a letter to the Town Council, signed by 12 youngsters.  They are in need of a piece of waste ground where they can build their own mud jumps and ramps.

Clare Town Council are contacting local landowners to see if a suitable location can be found.   If you can offer any assistance in helping to find such a location please contact the Town Clerk on 01787 277559.
