Clare Community Carol Service, held on 10 December 2008, was a resounding success.  An excellent edition to the musical accompaniment were members of Newport Free Grammer School brass band, conducted by the MC of the carols, Nigel Partridge.  The collection at the end of the carols raised £350 which will be donated to St Nicholas Hospice.
