Following on from the very successful public meeting in the Town Hall on 8th October a Steering Group of twenty people has been formed to take forward the initiative for Clare to have a "Community Plan". The Chair of the Group is Nick Smith of Clare Pharmacy who is known to many residents. The Steering Group is currently preparing a mission statement which will map out the objectives of the Group and will be the beginning of the process which will take between a year and eighteen months. At their next meeting in the New Year plans will be put forward on the different ways of communicating with residents and the surrounding villages.
