Unveiling of The Nuttery Interpretation Board
The Mayor of St. Edmundsbury, Councillor Robert Cockle, unveiled the new Interpretation Board at The Nuttery. Funded by both St. Edmundsbury Borough Council and Clare Town Council the Interpretation Board will help residents and visitors alike to enjoy and understand what is going on in Clare's "Breathing Space".
The Nuttery project has been extensively supported by the Dedham Vale AONB & Stour Valley Project who was represented by their Biodiversity Officer, Neil Catchpole. In his address Mr. Catchpole paid tribute to Town Councillor Keith Mison and his team for the years of devoted work required to recreate what was essentially a traditional asset for every village in Suffolk. Cllr. Mison said "The support of the Dedham Vale AONB & Stour Valley Project has made an enormous contribution to the success of The Nuttery project for which we are very grateful".
