Clare's New Sports Pavilion
After many years in the planning, Clare Playing Fields Association has at last got the funding to go ahead with the building of the new Sports Pavilion on Clare Playing Fields. With a substantial grant from the Football Foundation and supported by further funding from Clare Town Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council, the project is fully funded and work has started immediately. It is expected to have the new facility completed and ready for use by March 2008.
Our picture shows some of the junior team players alongside the VIP's who were in Clare for the launch ceremony.
Clare looks set to become a centre for sporting excellence!
