Clare Christmas Lights
This year's Christmas lights are more attractive than ever. A very large crowd gathered on a cold evening at the end of November to watch the traditional parade with the piper leading children and families around the church and into Market Square.
The lights were switched on following a countdown by the Mayoress of Bury St Edmunds, and then we were all able to enjoy the funfair, the hot-dogs and of course the mulled wine.
Our warmest thanks for their financial support are due to St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Clare Town Council, the Clare Business Association and of course the many individuals who made donations.
