Six Goal Derby for Clare
CLARE football team were one of the few teams who were able to have a game last week following the snow and heavy rain on the Saturday. However their local derby against Glemsford and Cavendish was able to go ahead with the Cavendish ground being declared fit to play on – one of only two pitches declared fit that day in the Treadfirst Halstead League.
The local derby proved to be an entertaining match with the final score line finishing at 3 goals each with M Goodwin, S Orbell and M Cutts scoring for Clare.
