School Staff Stage Panto
STAFF at Clare Middle School gave pupils a surprise during their end of term assembly by staging their very own version of the pantomime classic Alladin
Teachers dressed up as an array of characters including a well-known television “gardening guru” who soaked the audience with one of her “water features”! The crowd were also suitably impressed by the sultan’s belly dancers who were accompanied by atmospheric eastern music.
Assistant Head Teacher Robert Wheeler said “There is a long tradition of staff pantomimes at Clare and the pantomime is a way of giving a bit of seasonal entertainment and showing that teachers don’t mind making fools of themselves once in a while”.
