Clare Footballer Selected for England Squad
A YOUNG footballer James Krause who is aged 16 and from Clare has been selected for the England Under 17 squad.
The squad are due to take part in the Nordic Championships which are being held in Norway and are a six day tournament. Their first game was last Tuesday against Iceland. Other teams taking part are Scotland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and the Faroe Islands.
James is now a new scholar at the Ipswich Town academy and has previously trained with the England Development squad.
