Clare Helicopter Rescue
A VULNERABLE elderly man went missing in Clare and sparked a hunt by the Suffolk police helicopter.
At l1.3Oam on Saturday police received reports the man was missing and scrambled the force helicopter.
The crew spotted the 74-year-old man later that afternoon in the cemetery in Clare with his dog. It is believed he had stayed out overnight.
He was taken by air ambulance to the West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, where he was treated.
