Town gears up for Clare in Bloom
ADULTS with learning difficulties have been helping Clare town to bloom. Services to Business, a day care centre for adults with learning difficulties, helped members of the Clare in Bloom team plant flowers around the town in preparation for the Anglia in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions. Judging for the events is due to begin at the end of July
Chairman of Clare in Bloom, Mark Ramsey said the volunteers had been exceptionally helpful with the planting which would carry on for another five or so days.
Over the weekend, members of the committee also put up around 100 hanging baskets around the town.
