Clare in Blooom 2002
In 2001 Clare was awarded first prize for the best entry in the Large Village category for our part of England, which is Anglia in Bloom.
All those involved were delighted and the Clare in Bloom committee has received many compliments from both residents and visitors about the colourful flowers and tidy streets.
With success comes enthusiasm and the committee are determined to try and win again this Jubilee Year. We need the support of everyone, as before, to make sure your part of Clare is looking its best in July. We also need some kind people to help maintain the flowerbeds around the Town Church by each weeding just a small part of them during the spring and summer.
