Anglia in Bloom Organisers offer high praise for Clare
THE organisers of the Anglia in Bloom competition have spared no expense in praising Clare and it’s residents for achieving their winning Gold Award for Best Large Village.
The organisers said that Clare had produced a good floral village with many colourful baskets and floral containers. The level of community involvement as well as the number of private residents doing their bit impressed them immensely.
Clare’s conservation work also produced favourable comments with the Nuttery Project in particular described as excellent.
But perhaps the biggest tribute was paid to the Country Park with organisers saying that the well cared for grounds were wonderful. They went on to say that Clare’s Country Park was to be admired and that it was an enormous asset to the town.
The organisers closing comments was to congratulate the residents of Clare saying that the town should keep up the good work.
