Borough Council Rejects Tea Rooms Plans
CONTINUED residential use of a former tea rooms and sandwich bar on Market Hill, Clare has been turned down by planners.
Clare Town Council and the Clare Society had recommended approval, but members of St Edmundsbury Borough Council’s Planning Committee ruled the loss of commercial premises could undermine Clare’s town centre.
Elsewhere in the town, a Listed Building Application to install replacement windows at Hermitage Farm, Snow Hill, Clare has been submitted to St Edmundsbury Borough Council.
