Skateboard Park for Clare?
A petition to build a skateboard park in Clare has been started by a local teenager. Clare Middle School student, Randall Stephens has already collected over 400 signatures in favour of a park. In a recent letter sent to Clare Focus magazine, Randall explained that although he enjoyed living in Clare, he found it boring as there is nowhere for his age group to go and no facilities to use outside of Haverhill or Sudbury.
Sadly owing to some recent accidents, Randall and his friends do not feel safe riding their bikes on the roads however, both local residents and Police have already criticized them for riding and skateboarding on the pavement.
