New website has all the facts about town
CLARE’S new website was well received at an official launch evening recently.
Members of the Town council, computer club, traders association and site designer Jason Fitzpatrick gathered at the library for the event.
The site, which can be reached at
www.clare-uk.com, contains a history of Clare, a what’s on guide and details of businesses.
“It was well received and I think many people came out of curiosity to see what sort of things were on there,” said Derek Wootley, president of the computer club.
After Jason Fitzpatrick, web site designer, and Jeff Stephens, chairman of the Town council, had talked about the project visitors were invited to surf the site on the library’s computers.
“We hope It will be well used now the people of Clare know it is there,” added Mr Wootley.
