Town's web site to be launched
The official Clare web site is to be launched on the 25th April.
The new site has been set-up in partnership with the Clare Town Council and Clare Business Association and is designed and maintained by Pure Energy Multimedia - a web site design company who had previously set-up the very succesful Haverhill web site and several other web portals.
The site aims to promote Clare on the Internet, as well as provide a useful resource to the local community. It offers news and views, an events guide, a searchable directory, a photo library, and much more.
"This is only the very beginning for the site" said Jason Fitzpatrick, web site designer.
"It will never be complete as we'll continue to add new features and information as time goes by. Anyone can contribute to the site. If someone has any relevant information that could go on the site we would be more than happy to hear from them."
The launch will be held at the Clare library at 6:00pm and is open to anyone who is interested. Internet access will be kindly supplied by the library whilst Clare Computer Club will be demonstrating various aspects of the Internet.Web Link: www.clare-uk.com Email Link: webmaster@clare-uk.com
