Town gears up for a bloom
CLARE is gearing up for this year's Anglia in Bloom and residents are being called on to pull out all the stops to ensure a win.
Jane Bone, chairman of the Clare In Bloom committee, said: "Our plans involve everyone from toddlers, grannies, local businesses and councils to schools, clubs and organisations. So the entire community can Join in. It is through this co-operation that amazing things can be achieved."
She urged everyone to "work together" to make Clare a beautiful and well maintained town, which takes an interest in its countryside, conservation and wildlife.
