Reading Game Success in Clare
Once more, the Suffolk Library’s Reading Game, which takes place during the summer holidays has been an overwhelming success in Clare.
The children who successfully read and answered questions on six books during the school summer holidays were presented with their certificates by Councillor Rosemary Warmington at Clare library on Wednesday 22nd September. Also present were two characters from children’s books, the White Rabbit, from Alice in Wonderland and Puss in Boots.
Unfortunately, the six-foot high fluffy characters were somewhat frightening for the younger members of the library. but were enjoyed by the adults present! Well done to all who took part and to the library staff who were kept extra busy.
