Remembrance Day Parade
The Royal British Legion Women's Section and Clare Town Council
were very pleased to see so many people attend the Remembrance Parade
and Service on Sunday.
The Boys Brigade Band led the parade to a full church where the Fire Service,
Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts attended along with many
parishioners. The service was followed by a parade to the War Memorial
where wreaths were laid.
Thank you to the marshals provided by Suffolk County Council who ensured the safety of
those taking part by stopping the traffic at the necessary times. Thanks
too to those travelling through Clare who considerately waited whilst the parade and service took place on Market Hill. Story By: Town Clerk
