Clare British Legion Women's Section Celebrate 65th Anniversary
On Monday 18th March 2013 Clare Royal British Legion Women's Section held an Anniversary supper at the Clare Ex Servicemen's Club.
Invited guests and members enjoyed a buffet supper.
Mr Keith Haisman, Chairman of Clare Town Council proposed a toast to Clare RBLWS on the occasion of their 65th Anniversary.
Oldest member Mrs Phyliss Fairbrother aged 98 years old cut an Anniversary cake donated by Mrs M Dickson Chairman of the branch.
Mr Stan Perry, Poppy organiser presented certificates, brooches and bars to Ladies from Clare and District which include Clare, Hundon and Poslingford.

Sheila Martin - 50 years award bar brooch and certificate
Molly Claydon - 40 years bar
Karen Flack (not able to attend) - 40 years bar
Margaret Dickson - 30 years bar
Elaine Martin - 30 years bar
Margaret Swithinbank (not able to attend) - 30 years bar
Margaret Hickford - 30 years bar
Maureen Herring - 30 year bar
June Mansfield - 25 year merit brooch
Camilla Perry - 25 year merit brooch
Valerie Addison - 25 year merit brooch
Hazel Underwood - 25 year badge
Marion Rowlinson - 15 year brooch
Amanda Martin - 15 year brooch
Elizabeth Shephard (not able to attend) - 15 year brooch
Sue Herring - 15 year brooch
Poppy Organiser Mr Stanley Perry received a 35 year bar and medal
