After much debate, the Parish Council has resolved to change its status to Clare Town Council.

 

There is no additional funding that comes with the new name, and we have decided against the paraphernalia that can accompany a Town's elected representatives. What this change will do, however, is confirm Clare's aspirations as a thriving and dynamic community and hopefully add weight to our proposals when dealing with local and central government.
