 The President's Men
The annual CLASP Golf Day was held over the weekend at Clare Park Lakes Golf Club and was blessed with fabulous weather and a strong turnout.
The tournament raises funds for CLASP which is the largest charity in Clare and which provides indispensable services to the elderly and those in need of support such as transport for hospital appointments.
The winning team can be seen with very big smiles as well they might. The team captain was Peter Clapperton and he was ably supported by team members Ted Norris, Jack Rooke and Bobby Dunbar. Not only did the team win the overall trophy but team members also won the nearest-the-pin and longest drive competitions.
A formidable team and a great day for all concerned.
