I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. I now reside in Lexington, KY, USA. My grandfather was born in Anson County, NC where Rushings first settled in the 1700's.

Genealogy records show that a Mathew Rushing (Born: June 2, 1633 – Suffolk, England) was the first ancestral Rushing in my lineage that migrated to America from England in 1648.
