The main purpose of HAVO is to act as an Umbrella group in order to ensure that voluntary groups are offered support, training, information and practical advise wherever necessary. That voluntary groups and charities have a channel of communication with funders, policy makers and statutory bodies. That the voluntary sector secures the resources it needs to enable it to grow and provide services to the local community.

C.C.A is a small group of volunteers who live in and around Clare, who organise events for the community. In previous years, we were responsible for; Carnival day and dance, children's discos, duck races, bonfire night and much more. Any profit made from these events goes into a central fund and used as and when needed for community projects. We have donated over fifty thousand pounds in total!
