Situated in the heart of Clare Town in Station Road the Clare Ex-Service & Working Men's Social Club has been at the heart of the community for many decades and has been used by both young and old alike for generations. Located just inside Clare Castle's Bailey and in the attractive grounds of the Clare Country Park, the Social Club is within easy access of the town's amenities and transport links.

The Women's section of the Royal British Legion meets on the third Monday of the month, Call Sheila Martin Tel : 01787 278947.

The Social Club has a very well stocked bar with a good selection of beers and lagers, three types of wine, and a good selection of spirits and a pool table to keep you thirsty! Our Entertainment Committee runs regular bingo nights, dances and BBQ's in the summer nights - contact the club for details, times and dates.

Membership

We are open for membership for Clare and surrounding towns & villages. To apply for Membership form, please apply in writing or phone us at the club or e-mail us.

We have three types of membership for our club:

1. Full member @ £10.00 per annum.
2. Senior member @ £5.00 per annum,(over retirement age )
3. Junior member @ £5.00 per annum, ( from 16 - 18 )
